CTBC Bank USA Donates $300,000
The CTBC Bank USA has donated $300,000 to support small business recovery efforts led by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp (LAEDC). The funds will be used to enhance LAEDC's Together for LA Initiative, launched in response to Covid and reactivated amid the devastating wildfires in LA. The initiative aims to help small businesses plan, adjust, and survive in the long run. The bank chose to work with LAEDC due to its longstanding relationship with Cheung and its desire to find an organization with strength and knowledge. The initiative will invest in areas impacted by the Eaton Fire, such as Altadena and the Palisades area. CTBC's investment allows LAEDC to work on long-term programs.
